Reset - How do I reset my iPad?

If something isn’t working right, restarting, force quitting an application, or resetting iPad will likely solve the problem.
  1. Press the Home Button and Power Button at the same time.
  2. Hold the buttons for a few seconds, ignoring the slide to power off message
  3. Release the buttons after the Apple icon appears
  4. Turn your iPhone back on by pressing the power button.
