- Tap General
- Tap Passcode Lock and enter a four digit passcode twice
To turn passcode lock off,
- Tap Settings
- Tap General
- Tap Passcode Lock and tap Turn Passcode Off, then enter your Passcode.
To change the passcode,
- Tap Settings
- Tap General
- Tap Passcode Lock and tap Change Passcode, enter the current Passcode, then enter and re-enter your new Passcode.

To set how long before your passcode is required,
- Tap Settings
- Tap General
- Tap Passcode Lock
- Tap Require Passcode, then select how long the iPad will be idle before you need to enter a Passcode to unlock it.
