The iPad Wi-Fi + 3G connects to the Internet automatically whenever you use Mail, Safari, YouTube, the App Store, or the iTunes Store. The iPad Wi-Fi + 3G connects to the Internet using a Wi-Fi network when available and through O2’s mobile network the rest of the time.
Insert your O2 Micro-SIM into your iPad and make sure you sync your iPad with iTunes and accept the update to the latest software. You can then sign up, monitor, and manage your O2 Mobile Broadband Pay & Go service, all from your iPad. You can also choose to have payment taken automatically every 30 days.
If you chose not to accept the update you will need to select Summary > Check for updates in iTunes to get the update.
iPad will then download the O2 settings and you will be able to register your account. Tap Settings > Cellular data > View Account to register your details. After registering for the first time you may need to restart the iPad before you can use your O2 data allowance.
